Empty Bowls Soup Supper Hunger Relief Benefit

Potters and other caring individuals create and donate handmade ceramic bowls and cups.
Guests come to the Empty Bowls Benefit at First Christian Church to purchase a handmade bowl and enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread donated by generous local restaurants, or the Empty Cups Benefit at our sponsor Classic Coffee and purchase a handmade cup and enjoy a cup of coffee or cocoa.
Participants take home their bowls or cups to remind them that many people in our own community have empty bowls and cups not by choice but by unfortunate circumstances; and by participating in the Empty Bowls Project they have contributed to the solution.
